How and to what extent do schools, districts, and community partners work together to provide students with quality services and programs that support their learning needs and school experience?

In line with the whole-school/every-child approach of more and better learning time, support services are key to ensuring that the more and better learning time effort is implemented successfully. Support services that address the needs of all students, especially those from underserved communities, are best achieved through strong, high-quality relationships between schools and community organizations.

• The following services are in place at the school site and there is evidence that students from the highest-need sub-groups are accessing the services:
  – Mental health services
  – Health/wellness programs
  – Easily available, nutritious meals
  – Transportation services
